Stuck in Pain? You Deserve Better Than Generic Treatment.

Too many people accept pain as part of their routine—or worse, they settle for cookie-cutter therapy that doesn't address the real problem. You're tired of quick fixes that don't last, rushed appointments, and treatment plans that ignore what matters most to you.

You're Not Getting Results

You've tried stretches, foam rolling, or other clinics—but the pain keeps coming back because the root cause was never addressed.

You're Losing Time

Every day you're sidelined is a day you're not training, playing with your kids, or doing what you love. Time matters.

You Feel Rushed or Ignored

High-volume clinics mean short appointments with assistants—not the personalized care you deserve from a skilled therapist.

"A year ago I was told by another doctor there was nothing that could be done about my injury. Aaron proved that to not be true. He listens to all of my concerns, and the progress has been noticeable. I am so thankful I found The Movement Lab."

Dr. Aaron Mora, DPT

Meet Dr. Aaron Mora! Aaron received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Southern Nazarene University, where he also played on the SNU football team. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Langston University in 2012.

Aaron has been practicing therapy since 2012 in both the outpatient and home health settings. He has worked with all ages across the entire spectrum from 18 months to 105 years of age. He believes that movement matters to all individuals regardless of age and definitely gained a new perspective on life while in home health: “Humans should take advantage of our abilities to move and be strong because one day we may not have the luxury”.

Aaron grew up in Guymon, Oklahoma, a small town in the Panhandle. Being from a small town, Aaron played nearly all the sports offered and he did not have to specialize like so many of today’s youth. He found a passion for movement and appreciation for what athletes have to go through with the different demands of each sport on their bodies. This, along with rehabbing after his own knee injury, prompted his initial interest in the field of physical therapy.

Aaron created The Movement Lab in 2023, as he was noticing more and more the lack of attention given to motor control and movement across the sport, exercise and rehab spectrum. Having worked in a high volume clinic himself he knew that was not the care he wanted his own patients to have. Aaron is excited to offer one-on-one care for his patients and deliver an experience they have never had before and, in turn, results they didn’t think were possible.

Aaron has been married to his wife Stephanie since 2012 and they have 3 children, Gray, Emmie and Dax. They also have a golden doodle named Banks.

Aaron enjoys as many activities that he can fit in each day. He loves being active with people as much as possible, whether it is working out, playing sports, climbing mountains, fishing, cooking, men's ministry, or watching and coaching his kids' sports teams; he wants to do it all. Aaron values time with his friends and family above all else in life. He cares deeply about his people and he is excited you are here!

Dr. Cody Mayes PT, DPT, CSCS

Meet Dr. Cody Mayes! Cody received his Bachelors of science from Rogers State University. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College in 2023.

Cody grew up in Claremore, Oklahoma, as the youngest in a family of four, where he was constantly inspired to keep up and push himself. That drive led him into sports of all kinds — from running in AAU and USATF meets to ultimately focusing on soccer and competing at the collegiate level. Along the way, he learned the value of training, recovery, and resilience. While searching for his true passion he became a personal trainer in 2015 which showed him how much proper movement can impact people’s lives, and that passion ultimately led him to a career in physical therapy.

Today, he brings that same mindset into his practice while also continuing to challenge himself through ultramarathons and Ironman triathlons. Through these experiences Cody has learned firsthand the ups and downs of training, injury, and recovery — he uses that experience to help his patients move better, stay active, and get back to what they love.

Outside the clinic, life is wonderfully busy with his wife, Bailey. In May of 2025 they welcomed their first child, Elsie. Cody also has three wild dogs — Winston, Archie, and Rockit. They’ve been his running partners for countless miles, though he has had more than a few close calls with them nearly ripping his arm off chasing after squirrels. At the end of the day, everything he does — as a therapist, athlete, husband, and dad — is driven by his family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers. Learn more about how we can help you get back to what you love.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No! In Oklahoma, Physical Therapists have direct access to patients for the first 30 days. That means you can skip unnecessary doctor's office fees and start your recovery right away. You're in control of your care.

Do you take insurance?
The Movement Lab is an out-of-network provider, which allows us to give you the best possible care without insurance limitations. We follow a transparent, cash-based model with no surprise bills. We accept HSA, FSA, cash, credit cards, and Venmo. We also provide superbills for patients with out-of-network benefits, which can result in 50–80% reimbursement.
How often will I need to come in?
Each person is unique, and your plan of care will be decided during your first visit. Typically, we see patients once per week for the first few weeks, then scale to every other week. Our goal is to get you moving without pain, without fear, and without limits—not keep you coming in 2–3 times a week like most clinics.
