About Us

Dr. Aaron Mora, DPT

Meet Dr. Aaron Mora! Aaron received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Southern Nazarene University, where he also played on the SNU football team. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Langston University in 2012.

Aaron has been practicing therapy since 2012 in both the outpatient and home health settings. He has worked with all ages across the entire spectrum from 18 months to 105 years of age. He believes that movement matters to all individuals regardless of age and definitely gained a new perspective on life while in home health: “Humans should take advantage of our abilities to move and be strong because one day we may not have the luxury”.

Aaron grew up in Guymon, Oklahoma, a small town in the Panhandle. Being from a small town, Aaron played nearly all the sports offered and he did not have to specialize like so many of today’s youth. He found a passion for movement and appreciation for what athletes have to go through with the different demands of each sport on their bodies. This, along with rehabbing after his own knee injury, prompted his initial interest in the field of physical therapy.

Aaron created The Movement Lab in 2023, as he was noticing more and more the lack of attention given to motor control and movement across the sport, exercise and rehab spectrum. Having worked in a high volume clinic himself he knew that was not the care he wanted his own patients to have. Aaron is excited to offer one-on-one care for his patients and deliver an experience they have never had before and, in turn, results they didn’t think were possible.

Aaron has been married to his wife Stephanie since 2012 and they have 3 children, Gray, Emmie and Dax. They also have a golden doodle named Banks.

Aaron enjoys as many activities that he can fit in each day. He loves being active with people as much as possible, whether it is working out, playing sports, climbing mountains, fishing, cooking, men's ministry, or watching and coaching his kids' sports teams; he wants to do it all. Aaron values time with his friends and family above all else in life. He cares deeply about his people and he is excited you are here!

Dr. Cody Mayes PT, DPT, CSCS

Meet Dr. Cody Mayes! Cody received his Bachelors of science from Rogers State University. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from South College in 2023.

Cody grew up in Claremore, Oklahoma, as the youngest in a family of four, where he was constantly inspired to keep up and push himself. That drive led him into sports of all kinds — from running in AAU and USATF meets to ultimately focusing on soccer and competing at the collegiate level. Along the way, he learned the value of training, recovery, and resilience. While searching for his true passion he became a personal trainer in 2015 which showed him how much proper movement can impact people’s lives, and that passion ultimately led him to a career in physical therapy.

Today, he brings that same mindset into his practice while also continuing to challenge himself through ultramarathons and Ironman triathlons. Through these experiences Cody has learned firsthand the ups and downs of training, injury, and recovery — he uses that experience to help his patients move better, stay active, and get back to what they love.

Outside the clinic, life is wonderfully busy with his wife, Bailey. In May of 2025 they welcomed their first child, Elsie. Cody also has three wild dogs — Winston, Archie, and Rockit. They’ve been his running partners for countless miles, though he has had more than a few close calls with them nearly ripping his arm off chasing after squirrels. At the end of the day, everything he does — as a therapist, athlete, husband, and dad — is driven by his family.
